Welcome to DeBoraricks.com! Speaker and Author of Love Addicted: One Woman’s Spiritual Journey Through Emotional Dependency, DeBora M. Ricks has worked more than a decade with abused and battered women as an attorney, advocate, coach, counselor and adviser in the criminal justice and civil systems. For three and a half years DeBora worked in a residential drug and alcohol treatment center assisting clients with untangling their legal issues. As a speaker and writer, DeBora is deeply committed to helping women remember their worth, heal after a breakup, let go in love, and make peace with their parents and past.  

DeBora is the editor of seven books, both nonfiction and works of fiction. On her most recent trip to Paris, France she realized a life long dream to do a book reading and signing. Look for DeBora in Washington, DC the summer of 2012 as she is one of the featured speakers on the 2012 Project Consciousness Tour.
