I am so pleased to share with you the feedback that I received
from my clients when I read an excerpt from your book. Some of my clients have been in the welfare system for more than 10
years as mothers and now as grandmothers, still depending on aid. After reading the excerpt, I asked one simple question,
"Where is this person today?" Both women and men were stunned that you could still move forward in your life and
become a successful writer, attorney and speaker. I encourage you to continue to share your work with the world. Thanks for
the gift.

I stumbled on this book at a poetry reading and had the
pleasure of meeting Ms. Ricks there. Her book spoke to me so personally (even down to the 6 year relationship that went no
where)and helped me to walk away from my addiction to men and focus on ME! The book also names other important reads, quotes,
and people to get additional assistance from.

There is so much I want to tell you I just don't
know how to adequately express my thoughts in words. I finally got around to reading you book and I have to tell you I finished
it in two days! I couldn't put it down. This book is really a great prototype for understanding the psychology of the modern
day Black woman. I am so glad that you were able to articulate your thoughts so clearly because in reading Love Addicted
I now have greater reverence for the humanity of Black women.

Get the book! I am being blessed tremendously by this book.
It's like a good meal at a friend's house, I don't want it to end. I read the words and it's like having a sister right
in the room with you just giving it to you straight. I love it! I am enjoying the journey and looking forward to
the next one!
